Definition
The certification is a mandatory first step after graduation towards licensure and registration.
Obtaining the CACB Certification means that the applicant's academic qualifications are certified as having met the Canadian Education Standard for entry to the profession established by the Canadian Architectural Licensing Authorities.
Applicants are required to complete the remaining requirements for the province or territory in which they wish to be registered or licensed. These requirements vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction and may be affected from time to time by new legislation or changes in bylaws. Current information concerning requirements for registration or licensure should be obtained from the Regulator concerned.
